DAY 1. – Belgrade

Arrival in Belgrade. Meet & Greet at the Airport. Sightseeing of the Belgrade Fortress, visit the Roman Well built in the 18th century and the Big Gun Powder Warehouse from the 18th century. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Dinner in Skadarlija (Bohemian street) in one of the best restaurants in Serbia – “2 Jelena”. Overnight.

DAY 2 – Novi Sad

Fruska Gora, Sremski Karlovci, Sremska Mitrovica, Zasavica and Novi Sad tour. The tour start with 2-3 hours ride to Vojvodina region. The program includes a tour of Zasavica, nature reserve, with panoramic cruise; visit to Fruska Gora mountain and Sremski Karlovci, which represent the place of preservation of Serbian culture in the 18th and 19th centuries, with relaxing wine tasting and lunch. Follows visit to Novi Sad town and it’s dominant Petrovaradin fortress, the second largest fortress in Europe. Dinner in a traditional restaurant with typical specialties from Vojvodina region. Return and overnight in Belgrade.

DAY 3. – Topola & Vrnjacka Spa

Transfer to Topola. This region is synonymous with good grapes and fine wine. According to historical data, the vineyards here produced such plentiful harvests during Prince Milos’ time that there was not enough space to store the grapes. Today, grape and wine are symbols of each village in this region. Wine tasting with lunch. Dinner and overnight in Vranjacka Banja Spa.

DAY 4. – Zlatibor

Sargan 8 railway, Mokra Gora, Zlatibor, Drvengrad and Uzice tour.  Lunch at ethno restaurant, with diverse Serbian national specialties typical for Western Serbia and rakjia drink. Stop at a Mokra Gora village in Zlatibor Mountain and ride through part of old touristic railway called Sargan Eight dated from 1925. It is a narrow-gauge railway that passes through 22 tunnels, over 5 bridges, and overcome the altitude difference of 300 meters, on a total distance of 15 kilometers. After drive along Sargan Eight railway through beautiful sceneries we will visit ethno village Drvengrad (wooden city), built by the famous Serbian film director Emir Kusturica, who won twice Palm d’Or on Cannes film festival.Dinner in a traditional restaurant, accommodation and overnight in Hotel Mona 4 star in Zlatibor .

DAY 5. – Skopje

Transfer to Skoplje – Macedonia. City tour of Macedonias Capitol. beginning with the new “Skopje 2014th”, across the Stone Bridge, through the Old Town, up to the fortress Kale where the earliest evidence of human existence are. It will raise you to the Millennium Cross on the top of Mount Vodno for a spectacular panoramic view on Skopje. Dinner in the Hotel. Overnight in Skopje.

DAY 6. – Ohrid, Struga & Vevchani

Transfer to Ohrid, sightseeing of the old town presenting numerous Byzantine churches with valuable frescoes and icons, nice preserved 18/19th century Macedonian (Turkish-influenced) houses, ancient theater and arena, remains of St. Kliment’s university at Plaoshnik hill, one of the oldest in the world. A stroll through the old bazaar, introducing the old crafts-part of the rich tradition: silver filigree, making of parchments…
Lunch with local fish specialties and starters: Djomleze, Makalo fish soup, endemic wild Ohrid trout. Interactive Introduction, Cooking lesson, Watching and helping to prepare the meal. In the afternoon visit of Struga. From the Visit to the natural-science museum , see the endemic Ohrid flora and fauna. A stroll through the Struga bazaar. We’ll see the Black Drim coming out from the Ohrid Lake from the famous Bridge of Poetry. Continue to nearby village of Vevchani. The village is home of a medieval carnival and significant history and tradition. On foot sightseeing and visit of Vevcani Springs, a natural rarity. Dinner at a village familly run tavern with home made food, rakija and wine. Interactive Introduction, Local sausage recipe. Entairteinment by live folk music band. Overnight at the hotel in Ohrid.

DAY 7.

Transfer to the Skopje (or Belgrade) airport.
